These high intensity UV transilluminators outperform conventional UV transilluminators. The 25-watt buLbs provide the highest intensity and brilliant fluorescence with back-lit illumination. Transilluminators produce uniform UV brightness across the entire work surface. A high/low intensity setting provides necessary flexibility for laboratory research. "Low" setting reduces photonicking of photobleaching of gel samples during prep work. The "High" setting may be used in analytical documentation work. The UVG filter work surface is designed to decrease solarization of the filter, prolonging the filter life and providing greater uLtraviolet transmission throughout the filters long life span. Housing has scratch resistant powder coat for easy cleaning and maintenance. Transilluminator is supplied with a UV blocking cover that can be adjusted to different angles.
