General Description

DNA, MB-grade is used for the prevention of nonspecific hybridization reactions.DNA, MB-grade, is provided as a sonicated, denatured single-stranded DNA fragment mixture.

Application

The ready-to-use solution is directly added to the hybridization mix. It prevents nonspecific hybridization in all types of membrane (e.g., Southern and northern blot applications) orin situDNA hybridizations. DNA, MB-grade has been used in chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChiP) assay.
Note: Addition of NaCl, sonication or shearing, and denaturing are not required.
