GS-Alumina Columns

Agilent J&W GS-Alumina is the most polar alumina phase, consisting of aluminum oxide with proprietary deactivation. It is an excellent general-use column for light hydrocarbon analysis (C1 to C8 hydrocarbon isomers) including C1 to C4 saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons and cyclopropane from propylene analysis.;Alumina columns tend to adsorb water and CO₂ which, over time, results in changes in retention time. This column benefits from an advanced, proprietary deactivation process that allows for complete regeneration of a fully moisture saturated column within 7 hours or less at 200 °C.
