Thomson Instrument Company Ultra Yield Bidirectional Transfer Caps (patented) with downstem, utilize a peristaltic pump for easy aseptic transfer of media or cells into or out of larger fermenters, flasks, or other vessels (from any manufacturer). Specific Bidirectional Transfer Caps work with the 1.5L, and 2.5L Thomson Ultra Yield Flasks and your peristaltic pump. Simply replace the vented cap included with each flask with the appropriate Transfer Cap and connect to your vessel of choice. Transfer tubing comes fitted with female Luer lock. These products are individually packaged and sterilized for immediate use, and keep your processes GMP complaint. Ultra Yield flasks feature a unique baffle design which increases aeration and improves culture yields.
