Background	NCKIPSD (NCK-interacting protein with SH3 domain), also known as SPIN90, is a cytoskeletal adaptor protein involved in organization of the actin cytoskeleton and actin-based cell motility (1). Downregulation of NCKIPSD expression in breast cancer stroma is correlated with decreased survival. NCKIPSD regulates microtubule acetylation in cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) (2). NCKIPSD also plays a role in modulating signaling in the central nervous system (3).
