Vivaspin^® Filtrate is a ready-to-use ultrafiltration unit for up to 2.5 mL samples. It is especially recommended when the ultrafiltrate (permeate) is required for analysis, since this is collected above the membrane.

Maximum Passage of Analytes

A choice of CTA and PES membranes have been specially selected for higher rates of passage for low molecular weight species. Small drug molecules, hormones and metabolites can readily permeate these membranes, ready for analytical results you can rely on.

Effective Protein Removal

The broad range of molecular weight cut-offs (MWCOs) from 10-300 kDa ensure suitability for the removal of a broad range of macromolecules. Proteins and nanoparticles with molecular weights as low as 20-30 kDa can be removed from your samples.

Rapid Ultrafiltration of Challenging Samples

Since ultrafiltration occurs in the opposite direction to centrifugal force, even very viscous and particle-loaded samples can be filtered quickly.
