Description

IMDM (Iscove’s Modified Dulbecco’s Medium) is a highly enriched modified DMEM. It was developed by Dr. Iscove and his coworkers to assist in their studies of hematopoietic stem cells. They modified Dulbecco’s MEM by the addition of HEPES buffer, selenium, additional amino acids, vitamins and sodium pyruvate, and potassium nitrate instead of ferric nitrate.

IMDM is a highly enriched synthetic media well suited for rapidly proliferating, high-density cell cultures. Use IMDM to replace serum-containing medium.
